Where y’all at?
I’m on duty all day. Having two kids under age two is no joke.
Well, yeah it is, because I laugh all day long hanging out with these two little rascals. For a stand up comedian, it’s like the pot of gold at the end of my rainbow.
My material is endless now. It can range anywhere from one of the worst poopy diapers ever in Greenbrier Mall to singing “ABC” in The Cheesecake Factory. I haven’t had a dull day in a long time.
My daughter Euhenia (AKA “Sissy”) is 10 months old and she is the most beautiful thing I have ever laid my eyes on and simultaneously the funkiest thing, too. Whenever we are out I usually have to check my son Tobias (AKA “TT”) who will be two this month because he eats a lot fresh fruit and vegetables so his diapers are pretty mild.
But I don’t need to check Sissy. When she cuts loose I know immediately. I have been known to be in one of my favorite restaurants, Smokey Bones in Newport News with the best smelling smoke, flavor, spices and juices all wrapped in one. I’ll have one diaper override that awesomeness and still linger for an extra twenty minutes.
I’ve been keeping an eye on Sissy as she has started crawling, and big brother is not setting a good example. He’s been playing on stairs, jumping on the couch and running through the hall. She is trying her darnedest to keep up and, as a matter of fact, I’m trying my darnedest to keep up myself.
It’s been amazing watching them bond and communicate with one another. They wrestle and I even seen my son teach her the popular dance “Watch Me Whip and Nae Nae.” I laughed till I cried.
I can’t take my eyes off these two for one second. Nothing is safe. They lose my remote at least three times a day. Talking about timing, I have to end this now because I hear them but don’t see them.
